Pool opens 1 November 2009! Come along for some fun!

At the end of town, in Memorial Park, next to where the new Taihape area
school is you will find one of the Rangitikei's most beautiful swimming pools.

Taihape has its own indoor heated Swim Centre which is open between
October and March each year.

The swim centre has three different pools: The main pool which is 25metres long and 1.1m to 1.2 deep (av temp 28deg)
The learner pool which is 1m deep (av temp 32deg)
The toddler pool which is 60cm deep (av temp 32deg).

You are welcome to use the pool during its opening hours or you can attend some of the activities that are there for you:

On Fridays there is Aqua Aerobics between 9 and 10am. Cost are $2-00 entry fee and $4-00 to the instructor On Mondays and Wednesday evenings there is the Taihape Amateur Swim Club between 5 and 7pm There is the Stingers Swim School which is available for all learn to swim lessons. and there is they play ground right next to the swimming pool.
