Gumboot Day Colouring Competition
This year, the Gumboot Day preparations and activities include a colouring competition.
Best known for is "jock" cartoons, David Henshaw has donated a drawing for this year's colouring competition.

Categories & Prizes
-
Pre-school - the winning entry will receive a set of crayons and a colouring/drawing book
-
5 - 9 years olds - the winning entry will receive an activity set or an army Museum family pack
-
10 - 12 years old - the winning entry will receive a paint by numbers set.
All category winners will also receive a pair of Skellerup Gumboots and every entry will receive a packet of 12 colouring pencils.
Entry Details
Entry forms are available here to download, or you can obtain a copy from the Taihape Information Centre.
Entries Close
Entries are to be returned to the Taihape Information Centre by 5 pm Tuesday October 21st.
All entries will be hung in the town hall during hte Taihape Art Exhibition, "Otaihape Small Town Big Heart".
Prizegiving
Winners will be announced and presented with prizes by Rangitikei's mayor Chalky Leary. This will take place at 10.20 am on teh main stage at Gumboot Day.
