Organisation of the Taihape Trolley Derby 2008 has started!

The event will take place on Saturday 1st March 2008 from 9 am till 3pm.

Build a trolley and come along!

Gather at the top of Thrush Street and Kiwi Road.

Fee: $10 for kids and $15 for adults. For a registration form click here. Fill it out and take it to the Taihape Information Centre before Friday 22 February.

There is a stirring behind locked and highly secure doors of the design room at Kargle Motors Ltd. It is understood that the vaults have been opened, pencils are sharpened to dangerous degrees and the design desks and brains have been dusted off as the team prepare to thrill the crowds and "bust some records" at the 2008 Taihape Trolley Derby on March 1st. Director of K.M.Ltd and driver of last years fastest trolley, Glen Loveridge, was over heard stating that... "Meticulous attention to detail is the only way to iron out the real performance issues of 'Greased Lightning', Kargle's 2007 Trolley. "The other option is to design something completely new and dynamically different".
